GRADE 8 PERFORMANCE INDICATORS ASSESSED ON INTEGRATED ALGEBRA & GEOMETRY REGENTS EXAMS

Because the Grade 8 New York State assessments in math take place in March, the portion of the Grade 8 curriculum taught after March is assessed on the Integrated Algebra and Geometry Regents exams.  The list of post-March Grade 8 Performance Indicators below is based upon guidance from the State.

Solve linear inequalities in one variable

8.A.14 Solve linear inequalities by combining like terms, using the distributive property, or moving variables to one side of the inequality (include multiplication or division of inequalities by a negative number)
8.A.17 Define and use correct terminology when referring to function (domain and range)
