| FAQ - Causing Worksheet Builder to Crash OPENING/EDITING AN EQUATION
- You can create your own questions in Worksheet Builder. User created
questions can include equations generated by Equation Editor. But once
you have inserted an equation into a user created question, you may not open
or edit
the equation. If you attempt to do so, Worksheet Builder will crash.
You must delete the incorrect equation and insert a new equation to avoid a
crash. BROWSING THROUGH QUESTIONS FROM DIFFERENT LIBRARIES IN THE SAME SEARCH - Suppose you want all the Math A Regents multiple choice questions on probability. You go to the Algebra library and start your search by clicking on the
CHANGING THE ORDER OF CERTAIN QUESTIONS IN A WORKSHEET - You can drag questions up and down in a worksheet to change their order. Sometimes a Worksheet Builder question, often one with a large graph, will get stuck and not move to where you dragged it. Once this happens, immediately save all the worksheets you are working on. This is because the next time you attempt to drag a question in a worksheet or library, Worksheet Builder will crash. Please note that JMAP's Regents questions in Worksheet Builder never get stuck, only those questions that originally came with the program. However, after a question appears stuck when you attempt to drag it, dragging any subsequent question, including Regents questions, will cause Worksheet Builder to crash. For example, if you were to attempt to drag question 9 to the third spot, with the other multiple choice questions, it might get stuck and not budge. A subsequent attempt to drag any questions will cause Worksheet Builder to crash.
